The goal of this study section is to co-create strategies and research priorities for increasing uptake of influenza vaccines through US pharmacists and pharmacies during and after the COVID-19 pandemic. We plan to publish at least 1 paper in 2022 describing details about what we learn in this study section. Please join us in this important study section to develop strategies and research priorities for increasing uptake of influenza vaccines through US pharmacists and pharmacies starting in Fall, 2021.
Co-creation topics will include a compilation of current and emerging innovations with potential to make a difference, infrastructure enhancements in areas of practice, payment, measurement and technology designed to speed-up implementation of those innovations, and identification of additional research priorities needed to provide an evidence base for the future.
A selected cohort of US leaders and researchers who are passionate about increasing influenza vaccine uptake are invited to participate. Invited participants include national and state-level leaders from public health, pharmacy, vaccine manufacturing, physician, health plan and research communities, along with resource partners (including digital technology partners) and policy partners.
